Action cams are special cameras that you can take anywhere to film. These rechargeable cameras are therefore also ideal for use as dashcam. You charge the camera at home and put it in the car in no time. With such a rechargeable dashcam, you no longer need to connect the dashcam in the car with cables. Suction cup holders are available to mount the rechargeable dashcam in any car.
With a full battery, a rechargeable dashcam can film for around an hour and a half. Optionally, you can often order an extra separate battery to extend the recording time. An action cam or rechargeable dashcam has a special ‘Car mode’ where it records in Loop recording and automatically switches on and off with the ignition (if you connect it to the power supply).
