Hardwire kit with Mini USB connector to permanently power the dashcam. As the cable connects directly to the battery's power, there is no need to use the cigarette power supply in the car. With this hardwire kit, the dashcam can be used in parking mode with the ignition switched off.
2-wire
This Continuous power supply is connected at two points; the Red wire to a switched or continuous fuse and the Black wire to earth. If the camera needs to continue filming continuously (e.g. for parking mode), the power supply should be connected to a continuous fuse (which also provides power when the ignition is switched off). If the dashcam is to turn on and off automatically with the car ignition, the cable should be connected to a switched fuse.
Battery protection
The power supply has a built-in module that ensures that filming with the dashcam does not drain the car's battery. When the voltage of the battery falls below 11.7V, the power is cut off.
