The Viofo A329T is the ‘telephoto’ version of the popular A329 series. The second camera is mounted on the windscreen and points backwards. It has a narrow field of view and films the area behind the car thanks to its built-in 4x optical zoom lens. This makes the A329T much easier to install than the standard A329S, where the rear camera is mounted on the rear window.
4K 60fps + 2K
The Viofo A329T 2CH is equipped with two cameras, allowing recording both in front of and behind the car. The 4K 60fps resolution at the front guarantees the sharpest and smoothest footage. Thanks to the Sony Starvis 2 sensor, the quality remains excellent even in the dark. The telephoto rear camera films in 2K resolution.
The rear camera is mounted on the windscreen and connected to the front dashcam via a short cable. The footage from the rear camera is stored separately on the SD card. On the 2.4-inch HD LCD screen, the rear camera feed is displayed in a quarter of the screen via PiP (Picture in Picture).
Expandable SSD storage
The Viofo A329T 2CH supports Micro SD cards up to 512GB but can be expanded with an external SSD up to 4TB. A 512GB SD card can store approximately 18 hours of 4K + 2K video. With a 4TB drive, this increases to around 138 hours. Some of the SSD drives tested include those from Samsung, SanDisk and Western Digital. In addition to an SSD drive, a USB flash drive can also be connected to the dashcam for extra storage.
Wifi 6
The Viofo A329T 2CH is equipped with the new super-fast Wifi 6 (5GHz) technology, ensuring very fast and reliable file transfers. With Wifi 6, data can be transferred at speeds of up to 30MB/s. The Viofo App is available for iOS and Android.
Includes CPL filter
The included CPL filter for the front camera ensures optimal protection and image quality in sunny conditions. The CPL filter acts for the dashcam like a pair of polarised sunglasses for the eyes. Harmful UV radiation is filtered out and annoying reflections are eliminated. The CPL-600 filter is available as an optional extra for the rear camera (see accessories).
Automatic parking mode
A new feature on this Viofo A329T is the intelligent and automatic parking mode. In addition to motion detection or time-lapse parking mode, you can also choose low-voltage vibration detection. When combined with the optional HK6 hardwire kit, the dashcam automatically switches to this hybrid parking mode, which consumes hardly any power. In this way, the Viofo A329T monitors your car for an extended period whilst parked.
Please note: The automatic parking mode only works if the dashcam is used with the Viofo HK6 hardwire kit or the OP100 OBD-II USB-C power supply (see accessories). When connected, the camera will automatically switch to parking mode when the car’s ignition is switched off and revert to normal recording when the car is started.
Bluetooth SOS button (optional)
With the handy optional Viofo A329T Bluetooth SOS button, a manual SOS recording can be started on the Viofo A329T 2CH at the touch of a button. The SOS button can be easily connected to the Viofo A329T 2CH by switching on the dashcam and holding the button down for 3 seconds. The blue indicator LED on the button will light up blue once the connection has been successfully established. The SOS button can be mounted anywhere inside the vehicle using the adhesive pad supplied.
GPS module
The Viofo A329T 2CH comes with a GPS module as standard. The GPS allows the current speed to be displayed on the screen. This can be crucial as evidence in the event of an incident. Furthermore, the GPS records the locations where footage was captured by the dashcam. The route travelled can therefore be viewed using the software on a PC.
2.4-inch LCD screen
This Viofo A329T 2CH dashcam features a 2.4-inch HD LCD screen. The screen displays live footage and allows for easy menu navigation. The built-in screensaver automatically switches off the LCD screen after a set number of minutes, if desired, so that it does not distract the driver.
140˚ + 160˚ wide-view lens
Thanks to the 140˚ + 160˚ wide-view ‘fish-eye’ lens, the Viofo A329T 2CH has a wide field of view and captures almost everything in the surrounding area.
HDR
Thanks to HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology, the camera is capable of generating sharp images in both very high and very low light conditions. This means the camera captures razor-sharp images both during the day in bright light and at night in low light.
WDR
The Viofo A329T 2CH is equipped with WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) hardware. This allows the dashcam to automatically adjust the light intensity depending on the surroundings. The WDR therefore guarantees the best image quality under varying conditions.
Auto start
The Viofo A329T 2CH dashcam starts recording automatically when the car is started. So you no longer need to worry about it once it’s mounted in the car. However, this requires it to be connected to the car’s power supply.
G-sensor
Thanks to the built-in G-sensor, the Viofo A329T 2CH dashcam detects when you have been involved in an accident. Upon impact, footage is automatically secured so that it cannot be lost. It cannot be overwritten or deleted via the dashcam.
Supercapacitor battery
The Viofo A329T 2CH is equipped with a supercapacitor battery. This battery ensures that the camera can shut down correctly after a power failure. Supercapacitor batteries have been specially developed for use in dashcams because they are more durable than standard polymer Li-ion batteries and are also more resistant to high and low temperatures.
Built-in microphone
Thanks to the built-in microphone in this dashcam, sound inside and around the car is also recorded. The microphone can be switched off if desired
