This filter works quite well, many reflections of items on the dashboard in the windshield (or a light-coloured garment where the sun shines) that you see without this filter are (almost) gone with this filter. Mounting does cause a problem with a fairly vertical windshield as often mentioned: without a GPS unit between the mount and the dashcam, the top hits the windshield and the camera cannot look properly forward. But so far (done twice) some of the top can be filed off with a file (or Dremel) so you can just look a bit more horizontally. Also note: the top is where the largest gap is in the mount where the filter is slid in.

This CPL removes quite a lot of reflections from the windshield but loose it filters more than mounted. If you don’t have GPS on the A119 I can’t tilt the lens enough upwards, but a Dremel is the solution here ;-)
