Viofo HK4 Hardwire kit with angled USB-C connection to permanently power your Viofo T130 and A229 dashcam, among others. As the cable connects directly to the battery's power, there is no need to use the cigarette power supply in the car. With this hardwire kit, the dashcam can be used in parking mode with the ignition switched off.
3-wire
This hardwire kit can be connected at three points in the car's fuse box. In Viofo A139 models, among others, connection at three points is necessary to use the Automatic parking mode. The Red wire is connected to a continuous fuse (which also supplies power when the ignition is switched off), the Yellow to a switched fuse (which turns on and off with the ignition) and the Black to ground.
Variable battery protection
The power supply has a built-in module with a switch that ensures the car's battery does not run down from filming with the dashcam. The switch can be set to 11.8V/23.6V, 12.0V/24.0V, 12.2V/24.4V or 12.4V/24.8V. Power is cut off when the battery voltage falls below the set threshold.
Includes four types of Add-a-fuse plugs
Installing the hardwire kit is very straightforward thanks to the four ‘Add-a-fuse’ fuse holders supplied. By replacing an existing fuse with one of these adaptors, you can immediately create a safe and neat connection. This prevents the dangerous and makeshift practice of ‘tacking on’ loose wires in the fuse box.
