The updated Viofo HK6 3-wire hardwire kit is an advanced hardwire kit designed for use with your Viofo dashcam’s parking mode. This HK6 features separate compartments, making installation much easier. It is equipped with Bluetooth, allowing the voltage to be displayed in the videos. In addition, when used in combination with the Viofo A329S, this Viofo HK6 supports a hybrid energy-efficient parking mode in which the dashcam consumes virtually no power. Ideal when your car is parked for extended periods.
3-wire power supply including supplied fuses
This HK6 hardwire kit can be connected at three points in the car’s fuse box. The red wire is connected to a continuous fuse (which also supplies power when the ignition is off), the yellow to a switched fuse (which turns on and off with the ignition) and the black to the earth. The fuses shown are included.
Variable battery protection
The power supply has a built-in module with a switch that ensures the car’s battery does not run flat whilst filming with the dashcam. The switch can be set to 11.8V/23.6V, 12.0V/24.0V, 12.2V/24.4V or 12.4V/24.8V. The power is cut off when the battery voltage falls below the set threshold.
