Dashcam gives interference on radio

, by Allcam dashcams, 1 min reading time

Using a dashcam may cause interference on your radio. Especially in newer cars and with DAB radios, this is slightly more common. In these cars, the antenna for the radio is usually located above the interior mirror, often just the best place to mount your dashcam. In particular, the plug for the power supply or rear camera can interfere with the radio signal. In most cases, this interference can be remedied by fitting a ferrite core to the plug.
