Fuses on hardwire kit do not fit

, by Allcam dashcams, 1 min reading time

Some hardwire kits have fuses connected to their ends, often of the Mini type. If your car supports this type of fuse and you have two suitable empty slots, you can simply insert the fuses connected to the hardwire kit there. If your car uses other types of fuses or you no longer have any empty slots, you will need to use a fuse holder to connect the cable to the fuse box. In that case, we recommend using our installation kit, which contains two fuse holders for all types of fuses.

Remove the fuses from the power supply, insert the bare end into the blue casing of the fuse holder and squeeze it closed. Insert the fuse holder into a suitable empty slot in the car and insert the fuse you just removed into the top of the fuse holder.
