The new DDPai Z50 1CH 4K Wifi dashcam is a high-end dashcam with excellent specifications. It films with very sharp True 4K recording quality. Furthermore, it is equipped with Wifi so images can be viewed wirelessly on your phone. On the bright 2.3-inch LCD screen, the menu is also easy to operate and you can easily review captured footage.
Note: This version of the Z50 is without GPS receiver. Only the 2CH Dual version is equipped with GPS.
The image quality on this DDPai Z50 1CH Dual 4K Wifi is very good due to the use of the high-quality Sony IMX415 8.0MP image sensor. It can be set to various resolutions, including Ultra 4K (3840p x 2160p) @ 25fps or to QuadHD (2880p×1620p)@ 30fps. The image sensor also performs above average in dark conditions. Photos are taken by the camera in 1600p.
Equipped with Wifi, this DDPai Z50 1CH 4K Wifi dashcam can be used with the DDPai app. The user-friendly app is convenient to operate and can be used to view live or saved footage and to change settings. Any firmware updates can also be conveniently performed via the app.
DDPai Z50 1CH 4K Wifi dashcam has a convenient automatic parking mode that can be used to secure the car when it is parked. The parking mode is automatically activated when no movement is detected for 15 minutes. The parking mode works with Time Lapse, which means a picture is taken every second that can later be played back as accelerated video. The advantage of parking mode with Time Lapse is that the recordings consume much less data and power than normal recordings. Moreover, people and license plates are still shown recognisably.
Another useful function of the parking mode in this DDPai Z50 is the voice alert that warns you when a collision has occurred while parking.
Note: The (automatic) parking mode works only in combination with the optional DDPai USB-C Continuous power supply (see accessories) to power the dashcam when the ignition is switched off.
DDPai Z50 1CH 4K 4K Wifi dashcam is equipped with a super capacitor battery. This battery allows the camera to properly shut itself down after power is lost. Super capacitor batteries are specially developed for use in dashcams because they are more durable than regular Polymer Li-ion batteries and are also more resistant to high and low temperatures.
The DDPai Z50 1CH 4K Wifi dashcam is equipped with WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) to improve image quality. Especially in conditions with very high or very low light, WDR ensures that image quality is still good.
This DDPai Z50 1CH 4K Wifi 4K dashcam has a 140-degree wide-angle lens on the front. This allows a very large area to be observed, not only in front of the car but also in the surrounding area. The aspect ratio of 16:10 also makes the viewing angle even wider than other dashcams with a ratio of, say, 3:4.
The DDPai Z50 1CH 4K Wifi 4K dashcam supports MicroSD cards up to 128gb, good for over 16 hours of FullHD recording.
The DDPai Z50 1CH 4K Wifi 4K dashcam dashcam automatically starts filming when the car is started and stops filming when the car is turned off. So you don't have to look at it while it's hanging in the car.
With its built-in G-sensor, the dashcam notices when you've had an accident. Upon impact, images are automatically stored securely so they are not lost. They can no longer be overwritten or deleted via the dashcam.
The DDPai Z50 1CH 4K Wifi dashcam, in combination with the DDPai Z50 1CH 4K Wifi dashcam hardwire kit, has the option to set a voltage at which the dashcam switches off when the car battery falls below this voltage. The voltage can be set to 12.4V, 12.0V and 11.8V.
The DDPai Z50 1CH 4K 4K Wifi dashcam has a built-in microphone so that sound is also recorded. The microphone can also be switched off if required.
