The Motocam C4.3 4CH is basically a truck camera system and dashcam in one. The Motocam C4.3 has 4 cameras with infrared LEDs that capture almost everything around the truck. The Motocam C4.3 4CH has two cameras for the side near the blind spot, one for the front and one for the back with 15-metre cable. It gets its name from the beautiful 4.3-inch TFT screen.
Camera and dashcam combination
This Motocam C4.3 4CH is actually a basic dashcam that can mainly be used as a camera system on the truck. The 4.3-inch TFT screen displays one camera at a time, the images from this camera are also stored on the SD card in the dashcam.
4x VGA Infrared cameras
The Motocam C4.3 4CH is equipped with 4 VGA (640*480p) cameras with 9 infrared LEDs on each camera for night vision. The resolution of the cameras is sufficient to see and assess situations around the truck.
The cameras are waterproof and can therefore be mounted outdoors. The four cameras come with following cable lengths:
Cam 1 VGA 120˚: 3m (front)
Cam 2 VGA 120˚: 6m (left)
Cam 3 VGA 120˚: 6m (right)
Cam 4 VGA 120˚: 15m (rear)
Bluetooth switch
Using the handy Bluetooth remote control supplied, the different cameras are switched between at the touch of a button. This allows the driver to make driving a lot more pleasant and safe.
Loop recording
As with any ‘standard’ dashcam, the Motocam C4.3 4CH truck dashcam has loop recording which automatically overwrites the oldest files for new files. That way, the dashcam always keeps on filming, even when the SD card is full. Depending on the size of the SD card, this preserves the last hours driven.
Auto start
The Motocam C4.3 4CH truck dashcam automatically starts filming when the car is started and it stops automatically when it is switched off. So you don't actually have to look at it after installation. A prerequisite for automatic start and stop is that the cigarette power supply only provides power when the ignition is turned on, as this allows the dashcam to notice when the ignition is turned on and off.
G-sensor
With its built-in G-sensor, the Motocam C4.3 4CH notices when you have had an accident. Upon impact, images are automatically saved securely so they are no longer lost. They can no longer be overwritten or deleted via the dashcam. This way, you can be sure that the most important files are always preserved. The sensitivity of the G-sensor can be adjusted in the menu.
Screensaver
The Motocam C4.3 4CH has a built-in screensaver. This screensaver automatically turns off the screen - after 1 minute by default - so that the driver is not unduly disturbed while driving. The screen can be reactivated with a single press of the Bluetooth or OK button. The screen saver can also be switched off in the menu, in which case the screen always remains on.
Built-in microphone
This Motocam C4.3 4CH dashcam has a built-in microphone. The videos therefore feature audio. The microphone can be switched on and off with a single press of the Menu button.
Suction cup mounting
Motocam C4.3 4CH comes with handy suction cup attachment for the LCD screen. This allows the screen to be mounted on the windscreen for good visibility.
With 4m cigarette power supply
The Motocam C4.3 4CH comes with 5V/3A cigarette power supply of 4 metres to power the dashcam. The power supply is suitable for 12V and 24V vehicles. Using another power supply is not possible (without cutting) due to the special connectors used to connect the power supply to the dashcam.
Date and time recording
The dashcam stores images with date and time recording at the bottom of the videos. Later, it is therefore possible to see exactly when certain recordings were made.
Viewing images
Viewing the recorded images from the Motocam C4.3 4CH can be done via PC or on the dashcam itself. The dashcam comes with USB cable that allows the dashcam to be connected to the PC. The video files are stored as normal MP4 files on the SD card, these can be viewed with any video player on the PC.
32gb MicroSD support
The Motocam C4.3 4CH supports MicroSD cards of up to 32gb. This is good for a total of about 18 hours of VGA recording, so with four cameras, about 4 hours.
With digital manual
The English-language manual for the Motocam C4.3 4CH can be downloaded under the ‘Manual’ heading under the product specifications on this page.
