The Viofo A329S is Viofo's new flagship model. This dashcam is one of the first to film in 4K 60fps, which ensures very clear and smooth videos. Another first is the ability to expand the memory with an external SSD memory (not included). In addition to these new features, the Viofo A329S is equipped with high-speed Wifi and GPS for the best connection.
The Viofo A329S 2CH is equipped with two cameras, allowing both the front and rear of the car to be recorded. The 4K 60fps resolution at the front guarantees the sharpest and smoothest images. Thanks to the Sony Starvis 2 sensor, the quality is also excellent in the dark. The rear camera films with 2K resolution.
The rear camera is connected to the front camera with a long 6-metre cable (included). The images from the rear camera are stored separately on the SD card. The rear camera is displayed on a quarter of the 2.4-inch HD LCD screen via PiP (Picture in Picture).
The Viofo A329S 2CH supports Micro SD cards up to 512GB but can be expanded with external SSD memory up to 4TB. A 512GB SD card can store approximately 18 hours of 4K + 2K videos. With 4TB of memory, this increases to approximately 138 hours. Some tested SSD drives are those from Samsung, Sandisk and Western Digital. In addition to an SSD drive, a USB flash drive can also be connected to the dashcam for extra memory.
The Viofo A329S 2CH is equipped with new super-fast Wifi 6 (5GHz) technology, which makes file transfer very fast and reliable. With Wifi 6, up to 30MB/s of data can be transferred. The Viofo App is available for iOS and Android.
The included CPL filter for the front camera guarantees optimal protection and image quality in sunny conditions. The CPL filter works for the dashcam like polaroid sunglasses for the eyes. Harmful UV radiation is filtered out and annoying reflections are eliminated. The CPL-500 filter is available as an option for the rear camera (see accessories).
New to this Viofo A329S is the intelligent and automatic parking mode.
In addition to motion detection or time-lapse parking mode, you can also choose low-voltage vibration detection. In combination with the optional HK6 hardwire kit, the dashcam automatically switches to this hybrid parking mode, which consumes very little power. The Viofo A329S monitors your car for an extra-long time while parked.
Please note: The automatic parking mode only works if the dashcam is used with the Viofo HK6 hardwire kit (see accessories). When connected, the camera will automatically switch to parking mode when the car's ignition is turned off and switch to normal recording when the car is started.
With the handy optional Viofo A329S Bluetooth SOS button, a manual SOS recording can be started on the Viofo A329S 2CH with a single press of a button. The SOS button can be easily connected to the Viofo A329S 2CH by turning on the dashcam and holding the button down for 3 seconds. The blue indicator LED on the button will light up blue when the connection is successfully established. The SOS button can be mounted anywhere in the vehicle using the supplied adhesive pad.
The Viofo A329S 2CH comes with a GPS module as standard. The GPS allows the current speed to be displayed on the screen. This can be crucial as evidence in the event of an incident. In addition, the GPS remembers the locations where the dashcam was used to film. The route travelled can therefore be viewed using the software on the PC.
This Viofo A329S 2CH dashcam has a 2.4-inch HD LCD screen. The screen displays live images and allows for easy menu operation. The built-in screensaver automatically turns off the LCD screen after a set number of minutes, if desired, so that it does not distract the driver.
Thanks to the 140˚ + 160˚ wide-view “fish eye” lens, the Viofo A329S 2CH has a wide range and records almost everything in the surrounding area.
HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology enables the camera to generate sharp images in very high and very low light conditions. This allows the camera to record razor-sharp images both during the day in bright light and at night in low light conditions.
The Viofo A329S 2CH is equipped with WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) hardware. This allows the dashcam to automatically adjust the light intensity depending on the environment. The WDR therefore guarantees the best image quality under changing conditions.
The Viofo A329S 2CH dashcam automatically starts recording when the car is started. So you don't have to worry about it when it's in the car. The only requirement is that it is connected to the car's power supply.
The built-in G-sensor allows the Viofo A329S 2CH dashcam to detect when you have had an accident. In the event of an impact, images are automatically stored securely so that they are not lost. They can no longer be overwritten or deleted via the dashcam.
The Viofo A329S 2CH is equipped with a super capacitor battery. This battery ensures that the camera can shut down properly after a power failure. Super capacitor batteries have been specially developed for use in dashcams because they are more durable than regular polymer Li-ion batteries and are also more resistant to high and low temperatures.
The built-in microphone in this dashcam also records the sound in and around the car. The microphone can be turned off if desired.
