The Wolfbox G850 Pro is a high-end 4K + FullHD mirror dashcam and digital rearview mirror in one. The ADAS and voice control make all your journeys a lot safer. The dashcam is also equipped with all the functions such as Wifi, GPS and a parking mode to register all your journeys and parking sessions. Expand it with handy accessories to mount it in any vehicle.
The Wolfbox G850 Pro records razor-sharp images using high-quality Sony image sensors. The front camera records in 4K resolution at 30fps and the rear camera in FullHD at 25fps. The rear camera is connected to the front camera with a 6-meter cable that is included. An extension cable of 10 meters is available for longer vehicles.
The Wolfbox G850 Pro 4K is a uniquely designed mirror dashcam and digital rearview mirror in one. The large 12-inch mirror also functions as a fully digital LCD screen on which the image from the rear camera can be displayed. The Wolfbox G850 is therefore ideal for vehicles with poor rear visibility. It comes with brackets to place it over an existing interior mirror. A holder for the windshield or for the dashboard is also available as an option for vehicles without an interior mirror.
The Wolfbox G850 Pro is equipped with super-fast 5.8 GHz Wifi. You can use your phone to connect to the camera within range of the camera (+/- 5 meters) via Wifi. You can easily view, download or share videos and change camera settings via the Wolfbox App.
This Wolfbox G850 Pro can support the driver by providing warnings in dangerous situations. A warning can be given in the following situations if desired:
FCWS: Forward Collision Warning System. This system issues a warning when a vehicle is approaching at high speed. For example, the system will sound an alarm if there is a traffic jam ahead of the car. With a good GPS signal, the current speed is known and the camera can make a good assessment of the situation around the car.
LDWS: Lane Departure Warning System. The camera can give a signal when the car is in danger of changing lanes on the highway.
PCW: Pedestrian collision warning. Gives a warning when a pedestrian is too close to the car.
The Wolfbox G850 Pro 4K comes with an external GPS receiver that keeps track of the speed and coordinates of the locations where the video was filmed. The GPS displays the current speed on screen and the route traveled can be viewed later with the software on the PC. The external GPS module is easy to conceal thanks to its self-adhesive mounting, making it almost invisible.
This G850 Pro comes with a 64 GB Micro SD card, good for approximately 8 hours of 4K + FullHD recording. It supports Micro SD cards up to 256 GB, which means approximately 32 hours of recording.
The Wolfbox G850 Pro can be expanded with handy accessories to make it even better. The optional CPL filter filters out annoying reflections and harmful radiation. A windshield or dashboard mount is also available. Ideal for using the mirror in a camper, van or truck without an interior mirror.
This G850 Pro 4K has a wide-angle lens of 170 degrees in the front camera and 150˚ in the rear camera. This large viewing angle ensures that a large part around the car is recorded so that everything is captured.
The G850 Pro can be operated by means of voice control. The following actions, among others, are supported:
- Lock the video: Save video securely
- Take photo: Take photo
- Turn on/off Wifi: Turn Wifi on or off
- Turn on/off screen: Turn screen on or off
The Wolfbox G850 Pro has a handy automatic time lapse and vibration parking mode to secure the car while parked. In time lapse mode, the camera takes a photo every second, which is later played back as an accelerated 30fps video. Time lapse recordings are slightly less detailed and therefore take up less data on the SD card.
The vibration parking mode ensures that a normal video is recorded in the event of a collision or other vibration. These incidents are therefore recorded in detail.
Please note: To use parking mode, a connection to the Wolfbox hardwire kit is required. Parking mode cannot be turned on or off manually.
The rear camera on this Wolfbox G850 Pro comes with an extra optional power cable. This cable can be connected to the power supply of the reversing lights. If the car is put in reverse, the rear camera is automatically displayed on the LCD screen along with parking lines. This makes the dashcam ideal for parking.
The Wolfbox G850 Pro 4K dashcam automatically starts filming when the car is started and stops filming when the car is turned off. So you no longer have to keep an eye on it when it is in the car. Note that this function only works when the power supply in the car is switched on and turns on and off with the ignition.
The built-in G-sensor detects vibrations and saves the current video in that case. This way you can be sure that the most important recordings are saved on the SD card. They can no longer be overwritten by the loop recording and can only be deleted via PC or by formatting the SD card.
The built-in microphone in the G850 Pro records sound with the videos. The microphone can be turned off if desired.
The current time and date are always displayed on the screen so that it can be shown later at what time the recordings in question were made.
This Wolfbox G850 Pro 4K dashcam comes with a handy car charger with an extra USB port. The extra USB port can be used to charge other devices such as your cell phone.
