This Viofo A129 Plus 1CH is the 2K Quad HD version of the popular Viofo A129 series. The 2K resolution at the front ensures that everything in front of the car is recorded in high quality. In addition to the image quality, this Viofo A129 Plus 1CH Wifi GPS is equipped with super-fast and stable Dual-Band Wifi (2.4GHz and 5GHz), comes standard with a GPS holder and can be operated with a Bluetooth SOS button.
The Viofo A129 Plus 1CH films in very sharp 2K 1440p 30fps image quality. Thanks to the super-fast Novatek 96663 chip in combination with the SONY sensor, all details are clearly visible, even in the dark.
The Viofo A129 Plus 1CH is equipped with dual-band Wifi, which makes file transfer very fast and the network very reliable. Via the Viofo App, the images can be viewed and downloaded directly via Wifi on any iOS and Android phone and tablet.
The Viofo A129 Plus is equipped with an automatic parking mode with motion detection or Time Lapse. With motion detection, the camera is on standby and starts recording for 30 seconds when motion is detected. In Time Lapse mode, the camera continuously records a 2fps video that can later be played back (in fast motion) as a 30fps video. This ensures that evidence is always available if the car is damaged while parked.
Please note: The automatic parking mode only works if the dashcam is used with the Continuous Power Supply for the Viofo A129 (optional accessory). When connected, the camera will automatically switch to parking mode when the car's ignition is turned off and switch to normal recording when the car is started.
With the handy optional Viofo Bluetooth SOS button, a manual SOS recording can be started on the Viofo A129 Plus 1CH at the touch of a button. The SOS button can be easily connected to the Viofo A129 Plus by turning on the dashcam and holding the button down for 3 seconds. The blue indicator LED on the button will light up blue when the connection is successfully established. The SOS button can be mounted anywhere in the vehicle using the supplied adhesive pad.
The dashcam comes with a GPS module as standard. The GPS allows the current speed to be displayed on the screen. This can be crucial as evidence in the event of an incident. In addition, the GPS remembers the locations where the dashcam was used to film. The route travelled can therefore be viewed using the software on the PC.
The GPS is integrated into the holder that is attached to the windscreen. An additional GPS holder can be ordered as an option if the dashcam is used in multiple vehicles. The GPS holders remain attached to the windscreen, making it easy to switch the camera between vehicles.
This Viofo A129 Plus dashcam has a 2.0-inch LCD screen. The screen displays live images and allows for easy menu operation. The built-in screensaver automatically turns off the LCD screen after a set number of minutes, if desired, so that it does not distract the driver.
Thanks to the 140˚ wide-view “fish-eye” lens, the Viofo A129 Plus 1CH has a wide range and records almost everything in the vicinity.
The 1.6 aperture and 7G lens capture a lot of light, resulting in excellent image quality both during the day and at night.
HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology enables the camera to generate sharp images in very high and very low light conditions. This allows the camera to record razor-sharp images both during the day in bright light and at night in low light conditions.
The dashcam is equipped with WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) hardware. This allows the dashcam to automatically adjust the light intensity depending on the environment. The WDR therefore guarantees the best image quality under changing conditions.
The Viofo A129 Plus automatically starts recording when the car is started. So you don't have to worry about it when it's in the car. The only requirement is that it is connected to the car's power supply.
Thanks to the built-in G-sensor, the Viofo A129 Plus 1CH dashcam detects when you have had an accident. In the event of an impact, images are automatically stored securely so that they are not lost. They can no longer be overwritten or deleted via the dashcam.
The AV output allows the dashcam image to be displayed on an external monitor, such as a built-in car navigation system. An AV cable is required to transfer the images.
The optional CPL filter guarantees optimal protection and image quality in sunny conditions. The CPL filter works for the dashcam like polaroid sunglasses for the eyes. Harmful UV radiation is filtered out and annoying reflections are eliminated. This improves the image quality and durability of the camera.
The Viofo A129 Plus 1CH is equipped with a super capacitor battery. This battery ensures that the camera can shut down properly after a power failure. Super capacitor batteries have been specially developed for use in dashcams because they are more durable than regular polymer Li-ion batteries and are also more resistant to high and low temperatures.
The built-in microphone in this dashcam also records the sound in and around the car. The microphone can be turned off if desired.
The Viofo A129 Plus supports MicroSD cards up to 256GB. This is enough for about 48 hours of FullHD videos.
